The Mission Of Our Youth Group
We believe God has called us, in partnership with the church, families and parents to:
- INVEST in our young people in significant and meaningful ways. They are not the future of the church, they are the church!
- INSTRUCT them in the core doctrines and disciplines of the Christian faith along with principles for living healthy, wise and productive lives for Christ
- INSPIRE and challenge them to step out in their faith
- IGNITE them with a passion for Jesus Christ, a love for the lost, a commitment to the local church
Our Vision For Our Youth Is That They Are:
- POSITIVE that God loves them and that He has a great plan and purpose for their lives
Romans 8:28 “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
- PERSUADED that God’s way really is the best and only true way
John 14: 6 “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- PASSIONATE for Jesus Christ, for His church, for the needy, and for the lost
Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ”
- PREPARED for life, for relationships, for service, and for leadership.
Ephesians 5:1-2 “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
